iOS 9.3

Hello 8th Grade Panther Time Teachers -

As many of you probably know, Apple has released iOS 9.3 earlier than expected and it has already started showing up on iPads as an upgrade option. We’re been told by Apple that they do not anticipate any app conflicts, particularly with the CAASPP AirTest app, but CAASPP Support still recommends using 9.2.

While we realize that we do not have control over whether students update their iOS at home, our intent is to keep potential issues to a minimal number. It would be helpful if you could announce during PT that we STRONGLY advise students NOT to update to iOS 9.3 in order to avoid problems with apps and while taking the state test next month.

If a student has already updated, you can tell them they should be fine, but in the future they should wait until directed before performing any iOS updates.
